Post It Notes in a Big Pile: Studying, Revision, Notes, Success

(1)
I took these photos as I was writing my ‘Primary School Diaries’ novel, soon to be published on Amazon for ages 8 and up. As part of my planning I had stuck lots of post it notes on the wall to help me order my thoughts, and as I transferred the notes onto my computer, I scrunched each one up and threw it in a pile. The pile could look like failure, but to me it was a picture of success, or breaking down a big task into little bite size chunks, and the pile of screwed up paper growing as I achieved each little task. I hope these photos will inspire students with their own studying or challenges they face.

A collection of photos that I am putting together as I row my boat around the entire coast of Great Britain. I plan to take a lot of photos of foods from around the coast and country, from lava bread in Wales to Haggis in Scotland, and Jellied eels in London. So check back on this resource as it grows. I hope it will be of interest to students with English as a Foreign Language and for students studying tourism or wanting to know more about traditional and favourite foods in Britain. Please leave me a review and I will send you any other resource of your choice for free (contact me: office@oceansproject.com). A collection of photos of five ginger kittens that I was fostering for the RSPCA after they were abandoned. A useful resource for conversations about the life cycle, birth, death, pregnancy, and the things that we need if we keep pets. How do we keep them healthy? Also useful for discussions about genetics, why kittens have blue eyes, and how the kittens are ginger when their mum is a different colour. Or for talking about the pets we have ourselves or would like to have in the future. Ideal for primary school students, and students learning English as a foreign language. Compare with the pictures in Part One when the kittens were younger and their eyes were still blue, how else have they changed in just a few weeks? NB. These were taken with slide film and not as digital pictures. Please leave me a review and I will send you any other resource of your choice for free (contact me: office@oceansproject.com).
